The Golden Hour
I saw the sheep while driving home. Everything was glowing from the sunset.
I had to try to recreate that warmth in my paintings. Gold leaf !
Applying gold leaf to the canvas and then painting the adorable animals was the way to recreate that warmth I saw and felt.
I absolutely love how this series is developing and growing!
