About the artist
Gayle Latuszek has been a student of art all of her life. As a child she began drawing in pencil, then learning jewelry making, clay and pastels while growing up in the Chicagoland area. During those years she had given away her art to her friends and family as she created it because making them happy made her happy.
More recently, her work has been in acrylic painting. As a result of working with animals for over 20yrs she developed many physical problems that have actually allowed her art to take more of a center stage in her life. She continues to learn by experimenting with colors, materials and technique. She studied design and art history through a local college in Greenville, South Carolina.
Now enjoys living with her family and pets in her new studio on the ridge of the Cumberland Plateau in Tennesse.
